As part of a South India trip to visit hotels, I stayed at Orange County in Kabini. This is a luxury eco-lodge in a beautiful setting with excellent accommodations and service, naturalists and cuisine.  This property is great for couples, honeymooners and families. There are pool huts and Jacuzzi huts and both have a living space and a separate bedroom. The huts have a tribal motif where crafts and luxury pervade. There are two restaurants, the Honey Comb and the Kuruba Grill. Both overlook the water and have excellent food. Honeymooners and couples can have an intimate dining experience near the water in an isolated area with their own butler. Two people can also have a candlelight dinner on their own boat while floating on the water.

And there are many activities. Take a vehicle or boat safari in Nagarhole National Park to look for chital deer, sambar, gaur, Asian elephant and more. Nagarhole also boasts a large number of predators including the tiger, leopard and wild dog. This area also has over 300 species of birds.

This property is a great stop on a South India tour to see wildlife and to relax from sightseeing in the cities. If you are planning an India trip, call Susan Geringer at 877–255–7438 or email Susan, susan@34.207.230.29 to discuss including Orange County, Kabini in your India tour package.
