Itinerary Overview
Namibia offers dramatic landscapes, unusual wildlife and a wide range of memorable activities. This safari covers a vast and diverse land in a short space of time: Kwessi Dunes is in the NamibRand Nature Reserve, with its spectacular desert landscape; Hoanib Valley Camp on the Hoanib River, the perfect location to search for the unique desert adapted animals of the region; Shipwreck Lodge, the only lodge within the Skeleton Coast National Park, beautifully positioned in the sand overlooking the sea.
Transfer from Windhoek airport to Olive Grove Guest House.
After breakfast, transfer to Eros Airport where you will meet your pilot and take to the skies flying to NamibRand Nature Reserve.
Enjoy a day trip to the Sossusvlei Dunes, walks within the reserve, quad biking and stargazing.
(Hot Air Ballooning can be booked at extra cost.)
Return to the airstrip for a flight across the desert to the Atlantic coast.
Touch down in Swakopmund for a seafood lunch on the beach.
Resume your flight to the Hoanib Valley.
Activities include Desert Game drives in search of desert adapted animals, nature walks through dry riverbeds and a chance to spend a fascinating morning with the local Himba communities.
A full day traveling overland following the course of the Haonib River to the Skeleton Coast.
Explore the coastline with its dramatic shipwrecks and visit the Mowe seal colony.
Optional activities include quad biking and sandboarding.
Wrap up the day with a Sundowner drive to hear the roaring dunes.
Fly back to Windhoek.
