Itinerary Overview
This is a luxury 13 Day (12 night) safari in Botswana, combining the channels of the Okavango Delta with the Chobe River front in Botswana with Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA), Zimbabwe. Transfer to the Victoria Falls Safari Club.
Spanning the southern banks of the Zambezi River at the western end of the eponymous falls, Victoria Falls town is compact enough to walk around and explore the seventh wonder of the world, the immense Victoria Falls. About two-thirds of the falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwean side.
While the falls are undoubtedly the star attraction, the area provides both adventure seekers and sightseers with plenty of restaurant options as well as an eclectic variety of African curios and authentic art sold by friendly locals. Your Victoria Falls experience and sightseeing options include guided tours of the Victoria Falls Rain Forest, spotting game at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge waterhole, the Vulture Culture Experience, access to the Siduli Hide, Bird Hide, lunch at the Lookout Café, river cruises on the Ra-Ikane, game drives through Zambezi National Park, white water rafting, high wire adrenaline activities and dinner at The Boma.
Transfer to the Botswana border at Kazungula. Complete border formalities and transfer to Ngoma Safari Lodge.
The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. This section of the park is best known for its dense concentration of wildlife including elephant and hippo populations, but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them. A visit to this area guarantees close encounters with an array of African wildlife.
Your Chobe experience includes game drives in Chobe National Park, night drives on the concession, boat cruising on the Chobe River, birding (There are over 450 species to be spotted.), full day safaris cruising the Chobe River, driving in the Chobe National Park and picnic lunch, and visits to the local village can be arranged.

Situated in the northwestern corner of Botswana, the Okavango Delta, a World Heritage Site, stretches over 15,000 square kilometers to form the largest inland delta in the world. The Okavango River sprawls out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert forming this flourishing oasis featuring countless meandering waterways and crystal-clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife.
Your Chitabe experience includes game drives by day, evening game drives, nature walks and birding. Commonly spotted animals include lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird. Scenic helicopter flights, “back of house” tours of the solar farm and cultural tours can be arranged. Scenic helicopter flights incur additional charges.
Scheduled flight to Jao.
The 60,000 hectares Jao Concession encompasses deep blue channels, glittering lagoons, emerald-green floodplains and palm islands in the southwest reaches of the Okavango Delta bordering the Moremi Game Reserve to the west.
Your Jao experience includes game drives by day, evening game drives, nature walks, birding, full-day game drives and picnics, mokoro excursion, boating, fishing, sleep-outs at the Hide and spa treatments. Sleep-outs and spa treatments incur additional charges.
